The idea for the image is good, showing a tablet pen giving 'life/creation'.

The large space around the tablet pen and the girl feel a bit too empty and makes the image overly large. Try to cut down a bit on the image size to sort of scale around the main focus on your image, otherwise everyone's eyes are going to wander around the image.

Now the girl's anatomy isn't prefect and, really, everyone is always trying to improve their anatomy when they draw. Here are some anatomy tutorials to take a peek at - [link] / [link] . Take a peek around DA for more, there are hundreds of them!

It seems you have a pretty good grasp on shading, but don't be scared to get messy with shading or going really dark for shadows and bright as white for high lights. Experiment with shading by drawing a circle, choosing a light source, and then shade away! Another tutorial for you to check out - [link] .

The picture is very interesting. It looks futuristic and quite close to nature. I love the idea of having a tablet pen creating the character, it is a very unique idea.

The lineart looks quite nice and the colours chosen suit the picture well. I would suggest adding more depth to the background in some places so it looks as though the pen has transformed it as it has transformed the girl.

There is a lot of blank space in the picture surrounding the girl and it tends to cause the eye to draw away from the girl. Try possibly minimizing the background in the future or putting a lot more detail into the background.

The girl's anatomy isn't spot on. Her head is too big for her body and then her arms and hands are too small for her body. Anatomy is something everyone has trouble with, so just practice practice practice.
